The Campbell River Shoebox Project which delivers gift filled Shoeboxes to vulnerable women in time for the Holidays is back for the 5th year and has expanded to the North Island!

Here’s how to donate a Shoebox to a local woman in need:

1.       Decorate your empty Shoebox:  please wrap the lid and bottom separately.

2.       Fill your Shoebox with personal items and gifts worth approximately $50.

3.       Write a Message: a warm, supportive greeting can be extremely meaningful to a woman who receives it.

4.       Deliver your Shoebox to a drop off location from November 13th to Friday December 8th:

In Campbell River: Coastal Community Credit Union (Discovery Harbour), La Tee Da Lingerie (Shoppers Row) or Sundance Java Bar (Sunrise Square at Willow Point).

In Port Hardy: North Island Crisis & Counselling Centre Society (Beverly Parnham Way)

Drop off dates are from November 13th to Friday December 8th.
