House Swap Anyone?

This might sound really crazy but here goes…I live in Cold Lake Alberta and own a home here. I am looking to retire and hopefully move to Gold River. I am having issues selling my home and without selling it we can’t leave. So here is my thought.
If there is someone in Gold River that is looking to sell but is having the same issue as me and would like to move here to Cold Lake we could swap. My home here has been assessed (tax assessment) for $300,000. We aren’t looking to prosper we just would really like to retire.
