Ian Keith Smith
June 17, 1952 – March 20, 2018
Keith succumbed to the disease he so valiantly fought in the early hours of March 20.
He could not wait for the Spring Equinox that he so loved to experience.
Although Keith was born in Scotland, he was a true Canadian. He grew up in small towns in BC and spent most of his working life in the Northwest Territories. He is survived by his mother, Jessie Smith, his siblings Alison, Jason and Mark. Five children, Trevor, Jenifer, Chrissy, Lee and Jamie, 12 grandchildren and his fiancé, Deborah.
He will also be missed by his many, many friends and family in the UK.

I’m so very sorry for your loss Jesse Smith. I have just heard thru the internet that you have lost a son and I immediately felt devastated for you and your entire family. Alison, Jason, Mark and
Yourself especially. Know that You will be in my thoughts and prayers for some time to come. I know the days ahead will be difficult, but please know that so very many people are thinking of you and sending their love, as I am doing now.
Also praying for Jason and Mark, to be able to make it thru these hard times.
