A resident reported to the Buzz that she had received a phone call from someone claiming to be from the “Police”. In this particular case, they were asking for donations to fund a program that helps bullied kids. This resident called and informed our local RCMP Detachment and they confirmed that it’s a scam. I haven’t known Melony for all that long, but what I do know is that she give THE BEST hugs in the world! She always has a smile on her face and time to stop and talk and always has lovely things to say. If you call Melony a friend, then consider yourself very lucky!
