Over the night of November 13th and into the morning of November 14th, multiple cougar sightings were reported to the Gold River RCMP and the BC Conservation Service. In one reported case the cougar was pressing it’s head up against the patio door on the deck of the residence. BC Conservation Officers are aware and on their way to Gold River to attempt to locate the cougar. Residents are reminded to keep children and pets inside. The last sighting was on the 600 block of Dogwood. If you see the cougar, please call BC Conservation Service or the Nootka Sound RCMP immediately.

1 thought on “Multiple Cougar Sightings Through the Night”

  1. A raccoon bought it last night (Nov. 14) in our woodshed area behind the house (585 Dogwood)-did not see the cougar but it looks the raccoon got cornered there and put up a fight. Fur city.
